The petitioner is a confirmed Assistant Teacher at Haldibari Ranghat Primary School, a school under Kharba 2 circle of Malda District Primary School Council; he is praying transfer to any school nearer to his residence on the ground that the said school is 70 kms. away from his residence.

The ground of transfer is not very convincing; W.P.A. 31101 of 2024 therefore is dismissed without any order as to costs.
