Petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that pursuant to Baguiati PS Case No. 228/2024 being registered at the instance of respondent no. 6, the petitioners were arrested and at the relevant point of time a padlock was affixed at the residence of the petitioners. Subsequently, the petitioners were not allowed to enter the said residence.

Petitioners alleged that the respondent no. 6 has brought in other relations with her who are creating physical and mental torture and/or circumstances which are preventing them from entering the residence.

Be that as it may, petitioners presently intend to enter the residence. In case the petitioners

require police assistance for entering the said residence, the police authorities of Baguiati Police Station would render appropriate police assistance. A lady constable be engaged who on every alternate date for a period of 4 weeks would visit and ascertain whether there has been any physical or mental torture and/or any other untoward incident happening after the present petitioners entered the said residence.

In case any untoward incident takes place which is blown out of proportion, the concerned police station will not deter from registering fresh criminal cases.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 31046 of 2024 is disposed of.
