The petitioner approached this Court as her representation with the Inspector-in-Charge, Jagacha Police Station dated 22.12.2024 did not yield any result.

Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State has handed over a report prepared by the Officer-in-Charge, Jagacha Police Station which reflects that Jagacha Police Station Case No. 05/2025 dated 06.01.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS and the Dowry Prohibition Act.

In view of the police authorities having taken steps, the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred is subserved.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 66 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
