It appears from the report and is also submitted on behalf of the parties that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the defacto complainant/ private opposite party does not intend to proceed with the matter any further. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. The proceeding being G.R.Case No. 1186 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar be set aside/quashed.

The petitioners be set at liberty at once and discharged from their bail bonds.

The criminal revision being CRR No. 13 of 2025 is disposed of.

The connected application being CRAN No. 1 of 2025 is also disposed of.
