The petitioner seeks a sum of approximately Rs.35 lakhs and odd on account of work done, pursuant to a contract with the respondent No.2.

Ms. Roy Chowdhury appearing for the respondent No.2 submits that inspite of repeated requests made, the petitioner was unable to furnish the requisite documents to ascertain whether the petitioner was indeed engaged under any work order or whether it has done any work, as alleged. 3.

The petitioner is directed to produce such documents as sought for by the respondent No.2, as detailed in the letter dated September 6, 2024 by November 20, 2025. If such documents are furnished, the respondent No.2 and/or its functionaries will decide the issue about the pending payments of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such application. The respondent

will intimate the petitioner about such decision taken by it within such time as aforestated i.e. within four weeks. 4.

With the aforestated directions and observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
