Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners prays that his representation dated 10.12.2024 may be considered by the respondents/ electricity authorities who are being represented within a time frame.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondents- electricity authorities shall dispose of the representation dated 10.12.2024 submitted by the petitioners within a period of 30 days from the date of this order upon giving proper hearing to all the parties concerned and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law. Copy of which shall be served upon all the parties.

The respondents are restrained from disconnecting the electricity connection which happens to be an essential commodity till the disposal of the representation in accordance with law. It is made clear that the respondents/electricity authorities shall be at liberty to proceed in accordance with law after disposal of the said representation. Parties shall act on a server copy downloaded from the official website of this Court.
