The writ petitioner and the respondent school and the State are represented.

The petitioner is aggrieved that in spite of serving for more than seventeen years in the respondent school, his service was not approved by the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Paschim Medinipur. To that effect and for redressal of his grievance, he has submitted a written prayer vide his letter dated 16th November, 2024. The same is yet to be considered by the said respondent/District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Paschim Medinipur.

Considering all as above, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Paschim Medinipur to consider and dispose of the petitioner's prayer vide his letter dated 16th November, 2024. In doing so, he shall afford

opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the school and any other authority or person as he thinks fit and proper. He shall also take into consideration the relevant provisions of law or judicial verdicts as referred to before him, by the petitioner or his representative or any other parties. It shall dispose of the said prayer of the petitioner by a reasoned order, within a maximum period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
