Counsel for the petitioner and Counsel for the alleged contemnor nos. 1 and 2 are present. None appears on behalf of the alleged contemnor nos. 3 and 4.

Counsel for the alleged contemnor nos. 1 and 2 submits that they have already communicated to the school authority vide Office Memorandum dated March 18, 2020 to allow the higher scale of pay in Social Science Group in Konnagar Hindu Girls High School, Hooghly with immediate effect to the petitioner.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that in spite of the approval given by the District Inspector of Schools, the alleged contemnor nos. 3 and 4 being the school authorities have not implemented the order passed by this Court or the approval granted by the District Inspector of Schools. Counsel for the petitioner filed affidavit-of-service showing service of notice upon the alleged contemnor nos. 3

and 4 but in spite of service of notice, none appears on behalf of the alleged contemnor nos. 3 and 4.

Let the affidavit-of-service be kept with the record. In view of the above, Mrs. Shibani Sarkar, Secretary of the Managing Committee/Headmistress of Konnagar Hindu Girls High School, Hooghly, is directed to appear in-person before this Court on August 25, 2022 at 2.00 P.M. The Rule is drawn in a separate sheet.
