The writ petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. Syed Ehtesham Huda, learned advocate appears on behalf of the writ petitioner and submits that the writ petitioner does not want to proceed with this writ petition. In support of such submission the letter dated 7th December, 2021 of the writ petitioner is filed in Court and the same is taken on record.
During course of hearing two connected applications being CAN 1 of 2021 and 2 of 2021 are also taken up for hearing. CAN 1 of 2021 is an application for addition of party and CAN 2 of 2021 is an application for vacating of interim order.
Mr. Rejaul Alam, learned advocate appears on behalf of the applicant in both the applications and has prayed for necessary order for adding the applicant as
party respondent in the writ petition. This Court has heard the submissions of the learned advocates representing the writ petitioner as well as the applicant. Since the writ petitioner does not want to proceed with the matter, this Court finds it proper to dismiss the writ petition on the ground of non-prosecution and accordingly the writ petition stands dismissed as not being proceeded with.
Since the writ petition stands dismissed the connected applications being CAN 1 of 2021 and CAN 2 of 2021 also stand dismissed.
There shall be no order as to costs.
