...for the applicant (CAN 6303/2018) Affidavit affirmed on 21st August, 2023, as filed on behalf of the writ petitioner is taken on record. Heard the learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioners have referred to an earlier affidavit filed on behalf of the State where the State purportedly admitted that 22 decimals of land were taken over by them. However, in the latest affidavit filed by the alleged contemnor no.3 it has been stated that the State are holding only 17.45 decimals of land.

Learned counsel for the State shall try to reconcile the facts.

List this matter for further hearing on 3rd October, 2023 at 3 pm.

Parties shall be at liberty to file written notes of submissions on that date.
