Mr. Krishanu Banik ...for the respondents/claimants Inadvertent typographical error crept in the judgment dated 20.02.2024 in paragraph no. 21 at page No. 16 that the compensation amount awarded by the learned Tribunal has already been received by the respondents/claimants.

It is submitted by learned advocate for the respondents/claimants that the awarded amount of Rs. 3, 16,500/- in terms of the judgment and order dated 07.08.2013 passed by the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, has not been received by the claimants and the said amount has been deposited before the office of

the learned Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta in the year 2017.

Under such circumstances, the paragraph no. 21 at page 16 of the judgment and order be read as "Award passed by the learned Tribunal to the tune of Rs. 3,16,500/- shall also carry interest @ 6% per annum from the date of filing claim application i.e., on 26.09.2011 till the said amount deposited in the office of the learned Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta, if not already paid".

This order be made part of the judgment and order dated 20th February, 2024 and read the same conjointly with the said order.

Other portion of the judgment shall remain unaltered.

Liberty is granted to all parties to act in terms of the copy of this order downloaded from the official website of this court.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties taking all legal formalities.
