The instant revisional application is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for quashing of the proceedings being GR Case No. 702 of 2006 pending before the 8th Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta connected to Girish Park Police Station Case No.65 of under Sections 419/420/467/468/471/409/120B of the Indian Penal Code. On perusal of the application along with the Annexures, it appears that there are prima facie indications of commission of an offence and incriminating materials. Therefore, it is not a fit case to exercise jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the same stands dismissed along with pending applications.
