Suman Sengupta, Rudranil De and Supratim Dhar, Advocates (Present in Court) ..for the State * * * * The present petition was filed way back in the year 2014 primarily praying for relief quoted below: "A) Writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the respondents, their officers, subordinates and agents to forthwith take steps (i) to complete the Road Over Bridge leaving the service road space for the public in the Jubilee Market approach at Jhargram without blocking the Pannabithi Road and to complete the said Road Over Bridge in terms of the resolution held on 16.8.2013 (as Annexure P/7 to the petition)."

For the last more than six years the petitioners have not taken any steps to pursue the present petition. Apparently relief prayed for in the present petition must have been rendered infructuous otherwise the petitioners would have pursued it diligently as it pertains completion of a Road Over Bridge.

WPA/33273/2014 As no one has appeared for the petitioners, the petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
