The petitioners complain that the private respondents are encroaching upon their lands and attempted to construct a playground. The instant writ petition was filed in the year 2013.

The remedy of the petitioners against the alleged inaction by the police is under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In any event, the dispute is civil in nature and the petitioners may take appropriate steps in a Civil Court.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of without any further orders.

In view of the disposal of the main writ petition, the connected application being CAN 1 of 2014 shall also stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
