1. This matter is placed at the instance of this Court.

2. It appears that by order dated 12.06.2025 Mr. Masooq Rahman has been appointed to act as State defence on behalf of the appellant as the instant matter was of the year 1986. However, due to oversight the order of appointment has not been intimated to the learned Legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal, Writers' Buildings.

3. Accordingly, the appointment as State defence counsel be regularized. He will be entitled to a consolidated remuneration of Rs.1500/-.

The learned Legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal, Writers' Buildings, Kolkata is directed to ensure payment of such amount on receipt of the bill raised by him on account of his engagement as the State defence counsel.

4. Let a copy of this order be sent to the learned Legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal, Writers' Buildings, Kolkata immediately for compliance. (Apurba Sinha Ray, J.)
