Re: CAN 1 of 2024 1.

CAN 1 of 2024 is an application for a direction upon the Registrar General of this Court to release the sums deposited by the appellant in aid of admission of the appeal.

It appears that part of the gratuity amount of Rs.86,968/- has been deposited with the Registrar General of this Court under a Challan dated 25th February, 2016 by the appellant.

In a review application being RVW 177 of 2015 by an order dated 25th February, 2016 an order of attachment of the overdraft account of the company was lifted with the pre-condition of the aforesaid deposit. The deposit was directed to continue and abide by the result of the appeal.

The appeal being FMA 2715 of 2015 has since been disposed of.

In that view of the matter, the workman/ Ramajodhya Singh shall be entitled to withdraw the aforesaid sum together with accrued interest from the Registrar General of this Court.

Learned counsel for the appellant does not have any objection.

The workman/Ramajodhya Singh and/or his legal representative and/or his wife namely Janakdulari Devi shall furnish bank account particulars of the workman/Ramajodhya Singh to the Registrar General of this Court.

The sum of Rs.86,968/- together with accrued interest shall be transmitted by the Registrar General of this Court to the said bank account of the workman/ Ramajodhya Singh directly within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, CAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of.
