Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of.
Having considered the materials on record and bearing in mind the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in trafficking women for sexual exploitation as transpiring from the statement of the victim and in view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
