Naresh Kumar Jain v. Ranjan Kumar De And ORS

11.11.2022 SB Ct. No.236 CRR 402 of 1999 In the matter of : Naresh Kumar Jain None appears on behalf of either of the parties. This application under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure stems out of an order passed on 08.3.1999 by the learned Executive Magistrate, 2nd Court, Alipore, South 24 Paranas in M.P. Case No. 778 of 1999. Since none is appearing to support the petition under consideration, I am inclined to dispose of the application on merits.

From the attending facts of the case it is admitted that an order was passed in a proceeding under Section 144 of Cr.P.C. on 08.3.1999 and such order had a life of sixty days, therefore, after elapse of twenty three years nothing is left to consider the matter on merit.

The petition is absolutely bereft of merit and is thus dismissed without any order as to costs.
