Mukherjee Mr. Niraj Gupta Mr. Priyabrata Saha ...............for the Petitioners Mr. Somnath Basu .............for the State Respondents The grievance of the petitioners pertains to non-consideration of the representation appearing at page 122 to the writ petition dated 10th August, 2020, being Annexure P-13.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that their representation pertains to construction of a pucca road on the alleged land of the petitioners.

Mr. Somnath Basu appearing on behalf of the State respondents submits that he has no objection if the District Magistrate, being the

respondent no. 3, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners. In view of the submission made on behalf of the parties, I direct that the District Magistrate (respondent no.3) to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners within a period of six weeks from date.

It is made clear that nothing on the merits will influence the District Magistrate (respondent no.3) in considering and disposing of the representation of the petitioners.

The District Magistrate (respondent no.3) is at liberty to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners if he deems fit and necessary and he shall communicate the result of his consideration to the petitioners within a period of one week from the date of his consideration of the representation of the petitioners.

With the above observations, the WPA 7121 of 2020 and the connected application being CAN 1 of 2020 are disposed of.
