And In the matter of: Minarul Biswas ....petitioner Mr. Amanul Islam ... for the petitioner Mr. Swapan Banerjee Ms. Purnima Ghosh ... for the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and appropriately stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail on the ground that the others connected with the incident have been granted the same benefit by this Court.

The State hands over the injury report and says that the grievous nature of the injury would reveal that the petitioner attempted to maim or kill the victim. The report also indicates a serious skull injury.

However, considering the nature of the incident, the petitioner's immediate detention is not called for. The petitioner

is granted anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioner will be released on anticipatory bail upon furnishing security of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer.

The petitioner will also comply with the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code.

CRM 6532 of 2020 and the interim application therein are disposed of.
