The advocate-on-record for the petitioner undertakes to affirm and properly stamp the petition as per the rules within forty eight hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

This is a case under Sections 21(c) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act , 1985. The petitioner is in custody for over 900 days, as stated. Charge-sheet has been submitted.

In those circumstances, we dispose of this application for bail by directing very expeditious trial to be concluded by 31st March, 2021.
