The petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking. The only ground urged is the delay in the trial since the previous rejection in April, 2020.

The present delay is because of the pandemic and it has not been possible to conduct any criminal trial. It is hoped that upon normal functioning of the court resuming, the trial will be taken up.

CRM 6554 of 2020 is disposed of.
