Petitioner Mr. Arup Kumar Bhowmick ...... for the petitioner Mr. Binay Panda ... ... for the State The advocate-on-record for the petitioner undertakes to affirm and properly stamp the petition as per the rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video-conference on the basis of such undertaking.

It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioner that the co-accused in this case, namely Paresh Mandal was granted bail by this court in CRM 6160 of 2020 on 10th September, 2020. Since the petitioner is on the same footing which is admitted by the learned Advocate for the State, we are inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, we direct that the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Malda and on condition that during bail, he

must not tamper with the evidence nor intimidate the witnesses in any manner.

While on bail, the petitioner shall meet with the Officer-inCharge, English Bazar Police Station once in a week until further order.

If the petitioner fails to comply with any of the above directions, the order of bail shall be cancelled without any further reference to this court.

Thus, CRM 6597 of 2020 and CRAN 1 of 2020 are disposed of.
