Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference.

Accordingly, the application being CRAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of.

Report is placed on record. It is contended that the land in question is not in the name of the petitioner. Learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the petitioner is the grandson of the person in whose name the land was registered and he was cultivating poppy.

In view of the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in poppy cultivation, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
