...... petitioners Mr. A Banerjee ...... for the petitioner Mr. A S Chakraborty ...... for the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that they are the in-laws of the victim housewife and they have been falsely implicated in the instant case. Victim had been assaulted by her husband Narayan Das.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the witnesses.

Keeping in mind the extent of complicity of the petitioners in the alleged crime and as they do not appear to be the principal accused who assaulted the victim resulting in her death, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

The application being CRM 6693 of 2020 is disposed of.
