The advocate-on-record for the petitioners undertakes to affirm and properly stamp the petition as per the rules within forty eight hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The accusation is very serious. It is culpable homicide amounting to murder, by bullet injury resulting from firing. The incident occurred in June, 2020.

Mr. Banerjee for the State submits that the petitioners are the principal accused.

In those circumstances, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

CRM 6717 of 2020 and the interim application filed therein are disposed of.
