Chakraborty Mr. Biswarup Roy ... for the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and appropriately stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.
The petitioner claims that trumped-up charges have been brought against him.
The State says that charge-sheet has been filed and the injuries do not appear to have been grievous. Considering the material, the petitioner is entitled to anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioner will be released on anticipatory bail upon furnishing security of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of like
amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer.
The petitioner will also comply with the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code.
CRM 6747 of 2020 and the interim application therein are disposed of.
