Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference.

The application, being CRAN No. 1 of 2020, is disposed of.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that no narcotic substance was recovered from his possession.

Learned lawyer appearing for the State submits that the vehicle used for transportation of the narcotic substance was seized from the residence of the petitioner.

Having considered the materials on record and keeping in mind the prima facie involvement of the petitioner as a conspirator in the transportation of narcotic substance, which is above commercial quantity, we are not inclined in granting bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the application for bail, being CRM No. 6766 of 2020, is rejected.
