Considering the urgency pleaded by the petitioner in CAN 1 of 2020, the instant writ petition is taken up for hearing via video conference.

Accordingly, the application being CAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of.

The petitioner claims to have supplied UPS Systems for computers at the Gour Banga University in Mokdumpur, District - Malda. The University is stated to have received goods without demur and that a total sum of Rs.30,14,280/- became due and payable to the petitioner.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the payment has not yet been made.

A representation dated 25th August, 2020 has been made to the petitioner which has received no response.

In those circumstances, it is ordered that the Registrar, Gour Banga University, Mokdumpur, Malda shall dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25th August, 2020 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The petitioner and/or his legal representatives shall be heard by the Registrar, Gour Banga University, Mokdumpur, Malda and a reasoned order shall be passed and a decision shall be taken thereunder by the respondent no.2. The said decision may be communicated to the petitioner within seven days thereafter.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
