Considering the urgency pleaded by the petitioner in CAN 1 of 2020, the instant writ petition is taken up for hearing via video conference.

Accordingly, the application being CAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had originally alleged police inaction. It is now submitted that Khargram Police Station has registered an FIR on 19th September, 2020 under Sections 467/468/471/420/120B/506 of the Indian Penal Code against the private respondent.

Counsel for the private respondent submits that the matter is purely civil in nature.

Be that as it may, the writ petition has now become infructuous.

The instructions given to the Government Pleader by the Officer-in-charge, Khargram Police Station dated 20th September, 2020 be taken on record.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
