The petition is taken up through video-conference on the basis of such undertaking.
The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the present petitioners are innocent of the charges levelled against them and as such custodial detention of the petitioners is unwarranted.
Learned Advocate appearing for the State (Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri) opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and from the case diary he submits that the statements of the mother as well as the neighbours reflect the name of these petitioners who have preferred the application for anticipatory bail.
Having considered the nature and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to allow the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.
As such, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. CRM No.6831 of 2020 and CRAN/1/2020(Old No.4080/ 2020) are disposed of.
