Md. Moniruzzaman for the petitioner Mr. Arjun Ray Mukherjee Mr. Debasish Saha for the State The matter pertains to engagement in the post of ASHA in the sub-centre of Murcha (Canel para), Khargram Development Block.

It appears that the process for engagement was initiated long back. The petitioner complains that the same is yet to be completed.

The petitioner has made a representation before the respondent authorities through her learned advocate by a letter dated 19th June 2020. The petitioner alleges that the said representation is yet to be considered by the respondents.

Keeping in mind that the matter is pending for a considerable period of time, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 being the Sub-Divisional Officer, Kandi, District- Murshidabad to take steps to consider the representation made by the

petitioner, strictly in accordance with law, positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order. The said respondent shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

It is made clear that this court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and all points are left open to be decided by the said respondent at the time of consideration of her representation.

WPA No. 7210 of 2020 along with IA No. 1 of 2020 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
