De ...for State Ms. Roy Choudhury, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and moves the petition on having had served Kolkata Municipal Corporation, oral direction for which was given yesterday. She submits, illegal and unauthorized construction is being made in the property, regarding which the Corporation has omitted to act. Mr. Basu, learned advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, he has instructions that some construction appear to have been made in the property.

Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appears on behalf of the Corporation. On query from Court regarding action taken on representation dated 18th August, 2020, being AnnexureP/3 in the writ petition, he submits, the same will be dealt with on a direction made.

The Corporation is directed to deal with the representation within three weeks from communication of this order. In event, it is found that action is to be taken, regarding illegal and unauthorized construction, appropriate proceeding must be initiated forthwith thereafter. Otherwise petitioner should be informed as to whey nothing need be done. With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Accordingly, the connected application is also disposed of.
