This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authority in granting a new electric connection for submersible pump to him.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the distribution company has informed this court that they are willing to provide the electric connection to the petitioner. In light of the above submissions, distribution company is directed to effect service upon the petitioner upon compliance of all formalities and payment of charges, if any, within a period of three weeks from date. Distribution company shall be at liberty to take police assistance of the concerned Police Station and costs for such police assistance shall be entirely borne by the petitioner.

With these observations, WPA 7235 of 2020 along with application are disposed of.

Since, no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
