Heard learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the respondent Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of making several complaints to the police authorities and the municipal authorities against unauthorised construction by the private respondents at the premises in question, no action has been taken and unauthorised and illegal construction is still going on.

Learned advocate appearing for the Corporation submits that his client has initiated proceedings by issuing notices.

Considering the submission of the parties, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent Kolkata Municipal Corporation authorities to see that no

unauthorised or illegal construction takes place at the premises in question and if it is found by them that any unauthorised or illegal construction is going on, they shall take appropriate steps in accordance with law. WPA 7248 of 2020 is disposed of.

The application being IA No.CAN 1 of 2020 is also disposed of.
