In re: CAN 1 of 2020 This is an application for urgent hearing of the writ petition and is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration.

Learned Senior Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, the municipality is yet to grant sanction of a plan submitted long back ago.

Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the municipality submits that, a further time of two-weeks is required for the municipality to consider and decide upon the application for grant of sanction.

In such circumstances, W.P.A. 7266 of 2020 is disposed of directing the municipal authorities to consider and decide

the application for grant of sanction made by the petitioner within two weeks from the date of communication of this order. In the event, the municipality rejects the application for grant of sanction, the authorities will pass a reasoned order, which they will communicate to the petitioner forthwith thereafter.

No order as to costs.
