Mr. Suryaneel Das.........for petitioner Mr. Rajdeep Biswas.......for Union of India Mr. Das, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, pursuant to audit, his client decided to avail of amnesty scheme regarding payment of Central Excise Duty. His client went to pay but Reserve Bank of India refused to accept the payment on contention that Central Processing Identification Number (CPIN), in respect of his client, had expired. Hence, this writ petition for a direction upon the concerned authority inter alia, to consider his client's representation dated 30th August, 2020. Mr. Biswas, learned advocate appears on behalf of Union of India and submits, answering respondents are revenue, who have been impleaded but are not represented.

Reserve Bank of India will deal with the representation, disclosed from page 57 onwards of the writ petition and make known its decision to petitioner. This must be done within two weeks from date of communication of this order. Petitioner will obtain and serve the same alongwith the representation on Reserve Bank of India at its address given against its office, impleaded as respondent no. 7.
Writ petition is disposed of.
