Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 129 days and chargesheet has already been submitted and the victim girl recovered. There is no reason for detaining the petitioner any further.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the court's attention of the statement of the victim under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C.

We have perused the materials on record and the statement of the victim and the medical report. We are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. The application for bail being C.R.M. 6987 of 2020 is disposed of.
