The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The application is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

In view of the order passed by a coordinate bench on 2nd March, 2020, rejecting the application for anticipatory bail on the ground that the materials on record disclosed prima facie involvement of the petitioner in assaulting the victim and causing grievous injuries and disfiguration of face, there has been no change in circumstances for which we are not inclined to exercise our jurisdiction for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. CRM 7016 of 2020 and CRAN 1 of 2020 are disposed of. All parties are to act on a website copy of this order on the usual undertaking.
