In re: CAN 1 of 2020 This is an application for urgent hearing of the writ petition and is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration.

Petitioners seek a direction upon the Tribunal established under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. It appears from the records made available to the Court that, the petitioners filed an application under the Act of 2007 which is yet to be considered and decided.

In such circumstances, the respondent no. 1 is requested to consider and decide the application made by the petitioner

under the Act of 2007 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order to him.

On the undertaking of the petitioners to have the writ petition, stamped, affirmed and filed in the original immediately upon resumption of the normal functioning of the Court, W.P.A. 7392 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
