In re: CAN 1 of 2020 This is an application for urgent hearing of the writ petition and is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration.

There is a dispute with regard to the Constitution of a Managing Committee of a Madrasah. Admittedly, the life of the previous Managing Committee expired in 2018. Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the Madrasha Board submits on instruction that, the Madrasah Board is

seeking to appoint an Administrator till such time a new Managing Committee is appropriately constituted. Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, the District Inspector of School wrote to the authorities for the purpose of constituting a Managing Committee.

In such circumstances, the Madrasah Board who is vested with the statutory powers to deal with the situation of expiry of the life of a duly constituted Managing Committee of a Madrasah will take appropriate steps in accordance with law to have the Managing Committee constituted expeditiously and if possible within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 7396 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.
