Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference.
Accordingly, the application being CRAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of.
Having considered the materials on record and bearing in mind the grievous injuries suffered by the victim on the face, head and torso resulting in hospitalization and as the petitioner is the principal assailant, we are of the opinion that in view of the gravity of the offence this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
