Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference.

Accordingly, the application being CRAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of.

Having considered the materials on record disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in transporting narcotic substance in a vehicle which is owned by the wife of the petitioner, we are of the opinion that custodial interrogation of the petitioner for progress of investigation is

necessary and this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
