The petitioner assails an order dated August 26, 2020 passed by the District Magistrate exercising powers under the provisions of the Bengal Excise Act, 1909.

The State and the private respondents are represented.

The impugned order is appealable under Rule 3 of the Bengal Excise Rules Consolidated made under Section 85 of the Bengal Excise Act, 1909.

In view of the existence of statutory alternative remedy, I am not minded to interfere in the present writ petition.

W.P.A. No.7432 of 2020 along with I A CAN 1 of 2020 are disposed of, accordingly.
