Leave is granted to the petitioner to correct the presentation form and the first page of the writ petition to indicate that the matter is under Group-V (Service) and not under Group-IX.
Department is directed to take steps in this regard.
Institutional Strengthening of Gram Panchayats (ISGP) Programme-II, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Government of West Bengal under the signature of the Commissioner has directed the District Magistrate, Purba Burdwan to submit a report on the review application of one Sri Soumik Chakraborty, the petitioner vide letter dated
August 3, 2020.
The petitioner prays for expeditious submission of the report by the District Magistrate, Purba Burdwan to the Commissioner, P & RD Department and Programme Director, ISGPP-II.
In those circumstances, the District Magistrate, Purba Burdwan shall expeditiously but not later than a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order submit his report to the Commissioner, P & RD Department and Programme Director, ISGPP-II as required by the aforesaid letter dated August 3, 2020.
Upon receipt of such report, the Commissioner, P & RD Department and Programme Director, ISGPP-II shall dispose of the review application filed by the petitioner expeditiously and take consequential measures in that regard.
The decisions of the Commissioner on the review application may be communicated to the petitioner within 7 days thereof.
With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition is disposed of.
In view of the above, the connected application is also disposed of.
All parties are to act on a server copy of this order on the usual undertaking.
