For the State The petitioner undertakes to appropriately affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within one week of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner claims to be in custody for more than 500 days and seeks bail on the ground that only minimal injuries were suffered by the survivor.

This is a case of acid-throwing by the petitioner. Luckily, the survivor ducked and saved her face. She suffered severe injuries on her body.

Considering the nature of the incident and the possible involvement of the petitioner, he deserves no bail. CRM 7152 of 2020 along with interim application therein are disposed of.
