The grievance of the petitioner is that she has complained about the unauthorized construction by the respondent no. 7,8 and 9 vide her letter dated September 14, 2020 to the Director General (Building), Kolkata Municipal Corporation, the respondent no. 4 herein but the said complaint is still unattended.

The respondent Municipal Corporation is under legal obligation to take cognizance of a complain of such nature.

W.P.A. 7480 of 2020 is therefore disposed of by directing the concerned authority of Kolkata Municipal Corporation to consider the said representation of the petitioner expeditiously and to dispose it of in accordance with law by a reasoned

order after giving all concerned parties, particularly the respondent no. 7,8 and 9 an opportunity of being heard.

The connected urgency application being CAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly.

No order as to costs.
