The petitioners complain that the husband of the petitioner no. 1 lodged several complains with the Director General Building Kolkata Municipal Corporation the respondent no. 4 herein regarding obstruction in the use of the common road caused due to unlawful construction of the private respondent nos. 7 to 9 herein but the respondent no. 4 till date has not paid any attention to the said complains.

The petitioners pray that the representation of the husband of the petitioner no. 1 dated August 12, 2020 may be considered by the Municipal Authorities.

The Municipal Authorities is under obligation to dispose of the complaint of such nature. The said

representation therefore is directed to be disposed of either by the respondent no. 4 or by the respondent no. 5 expeditiously in accordance with law by a reasoned order after giving all concerned parties, particularly the respondent nos. 7, 8 and 9 to the writ petition an opportunity of being heard.

W.P.A. 7484 of 2020 is disposed with the above terms.

The connected urgency application being CAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly.

No order as to costs.
