C.A.N.1 of 2020 is application for urgent consideration of the writ petition. The application is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration.

Petitioner complains of police inaction.

According to the petitioner, the petitioner purchased land from the private respondents. The private respondents are disturbing the peaceful possession of petitioner. The police are inactive. None appears for the State.

As the narration of events demonstrate, there are disputes between the private parties with regard to an immovable property. It is for the private parties to avail of their remedies before the appropriate forum.

Moreover, the petitioner has statutory alternative remedy under Section 156(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code.

In such circumstances, interference by a Writ Court is not called for.

W.P.A.7502 of 2020 is disposed of.
