The petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

Having regard to the fact that commercial quantity of narcotic substance has been recovered from the custody of the petitioner and the statutory restriction contained in the Section 37 of the NDPS Act regarding grant of bail, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.

We have been informed that prosecution has already collected CFSL report. The petitioners are in custody for 131⁄2 months. Under such circumstances, we direct the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 6th Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas to expedite the proceeding and conclude the proceeding as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the

parties. State must collect all the CFSL reports relevant for the present investigation from the CFSL Authorities without any delay. Accordingly, the application for bail being CRM 7195 of 2020 is rejected.
